Grandma’s Forgiveness

Table of Blogs

When I do readings, I happen to see images. Sometimes they mean something concrete, sometimes they have a more symbolic meaning. Even people that passed away, can appear in my sessions. And although I believe there is more after life, it could be a reflection of someone’s idea’s or feelings about the deceased. Everything is energy, so I could sense something in particular, and the way it gets to me, could be by images – whether it was a real event or just someone’s interpretation.

Dead Serious & a Grave

Remains the fact that I once saw this elderly woman in one of my sessions. She looked dead serious at me, didn’t say anything. She just looked at me. And I saw this grave in a field. I told the woman for whom I had done the session, about the images. But especially when something delicate as ‘dead’ comes by, I try to be a bit cautious. So I asked her first if her mother was still alive. Fortunately her answer was affirmative. Which made it easier for me to tell her about the images. And to my own surprise she told me something that really made sense: it must have been her grandma, and she wanted to explain something about it.

Fled

So I was all ears. She told me that she was still young when her grandmother died – I assumed she was a teenager, or in her early twenties. And although she cared about her grandma, she wasn’t really super sad nor interested in the whole funeral. In fact, she wanted to leave the place as soon as she could, in order to hang out with her friends. Till some extent understandable when you have this age that she had at the time. And she did. She just fled the place as soon as she could.

Ho’oponopono

Needless to say, her mom wasn’t happy about it. And according to the woman, her mom was still blaming her for what she had done. The woman kinda acknowledged the whole situation, but she didn’t know what to do – she couldn’t go back in time, and change what she had done, right? How would she? So I told her about the power of forgiveness. There are different ways of forgiving yourself – just the intention itself can be really powerful, I have to say. But I am also a fan of the Hawaiian Ho’oponopono. And it’s really simple. You basically express your love, acknowledge your mistake and ask for forgiveness. Just picturing the other person in front of you, them saying ‘I forgive you’, can cause a shift in your own energy field. And then you thank them.

Energy Field

I often advise my clients to use this powerful prayer of forgiveness. Or I ask them in a session, in my meditation, if they want me to do such thing. And if they approved it, I would do it with all my love. Whether they would do it by themselves, or I would do it for them, it could work strongly. You might not be able to change the past, but you can change your perspective on it. And with your changed perspective, and intention, your own energy field will change. Wouldn’t that be wonderful?
